Starting salary £26,000 p.a
Hours: 9- 5pm Monday to Friday

Wellington Mills Housing Coop is a resident-run social housing organization, working in partnership with the London Borough of Lambeth. It manages 137 tenanted and leasehold properties in North Lambeth. A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to assist the Estate Manager in providing a first class service to the estates residents.
Your duties will include income recovery, helping to manage contracted services on the estate including day to day repairs, cleaning and gardening and providing support and assistance to the organisations current board of 14 voluntary members. You will also be required to assist members in organising community and social events and providing general support to the Estate Manager. Previous housing officer experience is desirable but not essential. You will however be expected to have a work history that includes working in a housing organisation and experience of dealing with repairs. You will also have a good understanding of current housing issues including the role of tenant management organisations.
Good customer service skills are essential as is the ability to deal with sensitive situations and develop good working relations with a wide range of partners. Wellington Mills is a small organisation but it will provide challenges that will develop your skills and provide a pathway to a career in social housing.
